The Salomon Pearl Boa Snowboard Boots are a minimal boot with maximum comfort for new riders. The D-Light outsole dampens vibrations and enhances board feel and the Boa® coiler is quick and easy to adjust. The Fit to Ride construction and heat-moldable Ultralon foam liners are designed for ultimate comfort and customization too, so you can focus on your technique, not your gear.

Flex

Soft Flex– For a rider looking for comfort above all, this soft-flexing boot encourages progression.

Fit

Fit to Ride– FTR construction is 10% lighter and 10% more compact without sacrificing comfort or durability. With 1:1 lasting every half size change in liner gets a half size change in shell.

Custom Fit– Heat moldable multi-density foams strategically placed in the sensitive areas of the foot, shin, ankle, and heel.

Universal Liner– Heat moldable Ultralon foam provides a universal out-of-the-box fit with unmatched comfort for every rider.

Boa® Lacing System– Easy and quick Boa® lacing – tightens with the flick of your wrist.

H4 / M3 Dual Zone Boa® Coiler– Two separate dials and lace paths work with the boot’s cuff to isolate fit into two distinct zones. The upper zone dials in flex and stability, the lower zone locks the forefoot.

Ability Level: Beginner-Intermediate Beginner-IntermediateWhether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall.

Flex Rating: Soft SoftThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers’ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
