With their ultra-wide tip and radical 13.5 meter sidecut, the Line Skis Blade Skis look like nothing else on the planet. Their performance is otherworldly as well, handling deep snow and crud like a boss while still carving clean arcs on the groomed like a race ski minus the hard work. Gas Pedal Metal construction, with an intricately cut Titanal laminate under the topsheet, gives the Blade uncommon stability at speed and smooths out the chatter, while a “mini swallowtail” at the rear of the ski provides a touch more float in the soft stuff. More than just a curiosity, the Blade is a unique design that has gained some diehard fans worldwide.

Rocker Type
      Â
Early Rise™–        Tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski’s lift in deep snow and allows it to engage more quickly on hardpack.
      Â
      Â
   Rocker Profile–        3mm Tip / 5mm Camber / 1mm Tail
      Â
Flex
      Â
Directional Flex–        The softer tip floats and initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability and high speed control.
      Â
Sidecut
      Â
5-Cutâ„¢ Geometry–        Five different radiuses are blended into the ski’s sidecut. The result? A wide variety of turn shapes and an intuitive feel.
      Â
Core
      Â
Aspen Core–        100% Aspen wood for the lightest, most nimble feel.
      Â
Laminates
      Â
Gas Pedal Metal™–        Titanal carefully arranged across the ski provides increased edge grip and torsional stability while maintaining a lively feel along the length of the ski. Two independent tip and tail Titanal pieces add power and energy.
      Â
Sidewalls
      Â
Sidewall Construction–        Ultra-high density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission.
      Â
Base
      Â
Fatty™ Base | 1.7mm–        30% thicker base dramatically increases durability and tuning life the skis.
      Â
Edges
      Â
Fatty™ Edge | 2.5mm x 2.2mm–        30% thicker edge dramatically increases durability and tuning life of these skis.
      Â
Additional Features
      Â
Stance Back from Center–        40 mm
      Â
Binding Compatibility

-    Terrain:    Carving, All-Mountain                                    CarvingFor those that like the classic feeling of laying a ski over on edge and arcing a perfect turn, carving skis are what you want. These skis have narrower waists and shorter turn radii for edge to edge quickness and responsive turn initiation and exit on groomed runs and hard pack. The beginner-intermediate skis in this category are designed to make learning how to turn as easy as going from pizza to French fries.                    All-MountainAll-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.           Â
