Karakoram’s quest for the ultimate splitboard binding has yielded some spectacular results, perhaps none so worthy as the Karakoram Prime-X + Split Interface Splitboard Bindings. Essentially the same binding as the X-Carbon but with a slightly softer highback and red anodized hardware instead of gold, the Prime-X is ultra light and ultra tough as the same time.

Tour Mode

Tightest and Smoothest Pivot– Precision sleeved tour axle is held in place with active joining

Dualspeed Riser– Adjusts with a pole basket to 3 heights

Dual Ride Stride– Adjusts to -8˚ for touring

Ride Mode

Ride Mode 3.0– Drop-on changeovers, Active Joining for instant response and direct power transfer and Seam-Lock between the two baseplate elements to eliminate underfoot movement

Drive Mode– User adjustable forward lean of between 0˚ and 22˚

Surf Mode– Activated without unstrapping; 11˚ or 0˚
