The most easy-going model in K2’s long Mindbender menu, the K2 Mindbender 85 Skis are light and confidence-inspiring, and a great way to transition from narrow, flat-tailed rental or beginner models. With the Aspen Micro Block core used in all the Mindbenders but without the metal laminate, the “85” features predictable but forgiving performance and easy direction changes.

Rocker Type
      Â
All-Terrain Rocker–        Skis with All-Terrain rocker have a gradual rise to the tip for great versatility in all conditions, with a short, low rise in the tail for added control variable snow.

      Â
Aspen Micro Block Core–        Many small stringers of Aspen give a consistent flex, smooth feel, and damp ride.

-    Terrain:    All-Mountain                                    All-MountainAll-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.           Â
