The Blizzard Anomaly 94 Skis slot into the lineup where the iconic Bonafide used to sit, and with some serious shoes to fill we can report that the Anomaly 94 is easily up to the task. Slightly “edgier” and “snappier” than the Bonafide, it still rails like a charm on firmer surfaces and loves to move fast, with superior edgehold and smoothness at the limit.

Rocker Type

Rocker Camber Rocker– Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow.

Core

TrueBlend All Mountain Core– TrueBlend core of Beech and Poplar, tailor-made for each Anomaly model and each length.

Laminates

Two-Piece Upper Titanal Laminate for Grip and Stability– No longer a single sheet of Titanal, the Anomaly series uses a two-piece laminate with a sheet of fiberglass in between the layers. The upper layer of metal resembles the shape of the FluxForm Titanal layer in the Rustler skis and the second layer fills in the gap in the center.

Lower Titanal Laminate– A full width Titanal laminate is placed under the core.

Sidewalls

Full Length ABS Sidewalls– Provide direct energy transfer under the bindings and precision during the turn.

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.

Terrain: All-Mountain All-MountainAll-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm.

Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Rocker Type: Rocker/Camber/Rocker Rocker/Camber/RockerRocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski. The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.

Turning Radius: Medium Medium17-22 m radius is best for all-mountain and park & pipe.

Tail Type: Partial Twin Tip Partial Twin TipPartial twin tip skis have a tail that is turned up, but not as much as the tip. This gives you the ability to ski backwards and back out of tight spaces, but these skis are mainly designed to ski forward.
