An all-new look and an all-new closure system put the Atomic Hawx Prime 115 S BOA W GW Ski Boots on the map. Designed for female rippers who don’t hold anything back and insist on charging harder than the guys, the Hawx Prime 115 BOA® gets thumbs up for both performance and comfort. The proven Hawx Prime fit remains virtually unchanged, but the BOA® provides more comfort over the top of the forefoot and instep and allows you to change tension to minute degrees even while riding the lift (hold on to the bar, though).

Fit
      Â
Last: 100 mm–        Designed for average width feet with average and slightly taller insteps.
      Â
      Â
Memory Fit–        Advanced heat-fitting technology creates a fully personalized shell, cuff and liner in minutes. The key is Memolink, Atomic’s special additive that improves the moldability and stretch of their plastics. Expansion can be up to 6mm forefoot width and up to 10mm ankle width, resulting in a permanent and complete anatomical fit in minutes. See your bootfitter for details.
      Â
      Â
Adaptive Fit Cuff System–        These boots come with a special spoiler in the back of the cuff. If you want a classic, cozy fit around the calf you can just leave the spoiler in. If you want more volume you can take the spoiler out. This makes the boot cuff slightly lower at the back, more tuliped and more open (equivalent to one cuff size larger). It’s quick, easy and you don’t need tools.
      Â
      Â
Low Cuff – All Sizes–        Designed for improved comfort with women’s calves
      Â
Flex
      Â
Flex: 115–        A very stiff flex designed for expert level skiers
      Â
Liner
      Â
Mimic Platinum Liner–        Improved with Power Ankle Lock (PAL) construction, 3D Stretch Toe, Thinsulate™ insulation, and Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Tongue
      Â
      Â
3D Stretch Toe Box–        Asymmetrically shaped for left and right, the new 3D Stretch Toe Box takes first fit and customization potential to the next level. Its ‘Big Toe Friendly’ construction maximizes the liner’s available length allowing for a little extra stretch when important millimeters are required to achieve the perfect fit.
      Â
      Â
3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation–        Keeps feet warm and responsive even in extremely cold and damp conditions.
      Â
Shell Materials & Design
      Â
   Shell–        Polyurethane
      Â
      Â
   Cuff–        Polyurethane
      Â
      Â
Prolite–        Instead of starting with a standard construction and cutting material away to save weight, Prolite does the opposite. It starts with the slimmest possible profile and then builds up reinforcements in key areas where strength is needed – like the Energy Backbone down each boot spine.

In skis and snowboards, you’ll often find layers of metal, carbon or other stringers for rigidity and power, while advanced to expert level boots and bindings are usually on the stiffer side of the spectrum for rebound and precision steering.           Â
