It’s not just another park board. The Arbor Draft Snowboard is a board that brings the park with it wherever it goes. The medium-soft flex, big blunted tips, and fully rockered profile make this thing exceptionally easy to throw around. Its tail was made for boosting side hits, the nose was made for bonking trees and boxes, and its base was made for sliding rails. Spin it, flip it, slash it, and butter it, the Draft is ready to roll.

Rocker Type

System Rocker– If you want a surfy ride, natural float, buttery turns and spins, and catch-free tracking across the snow – all with highly reliable edge hold – then Arbor’s System Rocker shapes are for you. System Rocker progressively reduces the amount of rocker toward the tip and tail and allows the outside contacts to easily engage when max edge hold is needed.

Flex Rating– 4 (1 Soft – 10 Stiff)

Shape

Grip-Tech– A tri-radial sidecut design that is not “blended.” Natural shaping intersections, that in the past were eliminated, have been transformed into heel and toe contact points that provide a direct, more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed.

Core

Highland Core– A 1:2 blend of poplar and paulownia, for super light weightperformance, durability, and return.

Laminates

Biax Glassing– A biax over biax lay–up that’s designed for park and street inspired all-mountain riding. Also creates a good platform for learning.

Sidewalls

360° Fully Wrapped Sidewalls– Eliminates the need for tip fill, while effectively tying the whole snowboard together. A technology that delivers incredibly tight tolerances for improved board life and durability.

Base

Extruded Base– A tough, user-friendly extruded base that’s easy to repair.

Recycled Steel Edges– Highly durable, recycled steel edges embody Arbor’s key values: quality and sustainability.

Topsheet

Bio-Plastic Topsheet– One of the materials Arbor uses in their quest to eliminate harmful petroleum based plastics from their production cycle. Made from Castor Bean Oil, this eco-topsheet is extremely durable and water repellent.

Additional Features

Bio Resin– Bio-Resin is a replacement for traditional petroleum based resin that doesn’t affect performance or usability. The ingredients that go into it are sourced as co-products or waste products of other industrial processes and are manufactured employing green chemistry techniques that reduce the carbon footprint of the material by up to 40% when compared to its petroleum based equivalent.

Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed.

Rocker Type: Rocker RockerA rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.

Flex Rating: Medium MediumThe amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboard flex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers’ number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard.
